Be an informed and vigilant investor

. Trade in futures contracts on commodities only through FMC registered members of NCDEX. Verify the    registration certificate of the member and ensure that the member has a valid registration certificate.
. Enter into an agreement with your member setting out clear terms and conditions for trading. Execute a valid    member - constituent agreement and procure a signed copy of it.
. Study and understand the risk disclosure documents and clear all your doubts before opening the account or    entering into any transactions. Also familiarize yourself with the Rules, Regulations, Byelaws and Circulars    issued by NCDEX and directives of Forward Markets Commission before carrying our any transaction. All    circulars issued by NCDEX are available in the mentioned link at www.ncdex.com/membership/circulars.aspx
. State clearly who will be placing orders on your behalf.
. Ensure that orders / delivery information are placed in the client code assigned to you (by the member).
. Insist for and retain original contract notes duly filled up with member name, trade time, trade no.,commodity    type, price and quantity and signed by the member or his authorized signatory, within 24 hrs of trade execution.
. Cross check the genuineness of trades carried out at NCDEX through the trade verification facility available on    NCDEX website. The trades can be verified online at the mentioned link at    www.ncdex.com/marketdata/hist_trade_verification.aspx only last three days trade details are available for    verification. Trades carried out on the same day are not available and can be verified the next day.
. Ensure receipt of payment / deliveries within one working day of payout.
. Ensure timely payments of margins, MTM and other amounts to the member. Issue cheques / drafts in your    member’s name and receive cheques / drafts in your name.
. In case of any dispute in the trades or in the contract notes or any complaint against the member, take up the    issue with member directly. In case of non-resolution, file written complaint against the member with the    Exchange. (Format and details available on our website under www.ncdex.com/marketdata/cmplnt.aspx ).    Please download, print the form, fill in the details, sign the same, enclose the relevant supporting documents    and send it to the Exchange.
